Multiplier Event in Szczecin, Poland

The second multiplier event of the FGPE Plus project took place on the 6th of December in Szczecin, Poland. The event, titled “Gamikołajki 2022: Gamification of learning programming”, was organized by University of Szczecin. Almost 140 participants attended the event.

During the event, the members of FGPE project team presented three intellectual outputs of the FGPE Plus project: the mobile version of the gamified platform for learning programming FGPE PLE (IO1), the connection of FGPE PLE with LMS tools via LTI interface (IO2) and the tutorial for teacher’s side of FGPE PLE (IO3).\

Next, the “How to gamify learning programming” competition was held, at which students presented their own ideas on how games help with the programming education.

Then, the attendees listened to two invited talks: one about practical advices on how to become an effective programmer (by Konrad Kur, CEO of softwarelogic.co), and the other on making use of creativity everyday (by Malwina Szczepkowska, PhD).
